Philadelphia Zoo Discounts Channel 6 Zooballoon Rides through November

The Philadelphia Zoo has announced that Channel 6 Zooballoon rides are just $5—nearly two-thirds off the regular price and half off the members' price—for a limited time, now through Nov. 30. Fliers can enjoy bird's-eye view of Philadelphia's great fall foliage. "This year's fall foliage should be more spectacular than ever after all the spring and summer rains," said Alexander L. Hoskins, Zoo president and CEO.

"And what better way to experience the breathtaking fall colors of beautiful Fairmount Park than from 400 feet above it all? With fantastic family events and special Halloween activities throughout the season, the Zoo is a great place to be this fall!"

Every weekend through October, special Halloween events give kids and their families lots of ways to celebrate Halloween at the Zoo. Children can come face-to-face with mysterious creatures; enjoy special treats, activities and entertainment; and show off their costumes during the Zoo's unique Halloween activities every Saturday and Sunday. The Philadelphia Zoo is located at 34th Street and Girard Avenue—minutes from the historic downtown area. The Zoo is open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission tickets are $14.95 for adults and $12.95 for children ages 2 to 11 and include free admission to the children's Treehouse and Birds of Australia exhibit. Zoo members receive free admission.

The Philadelphia Zoo is America's first zoo and one of the region's foremost conservation organizations, promoting efforts to protect endangered species around the world.
