Local Sellersville, PA Boy Dies on Walt Disney Epcot Center Ride
Tuesday June 14, 2005
A young boy from Sellersville, PA died Monday afternoon after riding on Walt Disney Epcot Center's $100 million "Mission: Space" ride. Daudi Bamuwamye, 4, had ridden on the ride along with his mother and eight-year-old sister. This was not the first time that an incident has occurred on this same ride. MSNBC reports that other riders have reported feeling ill following the ride. In one eight month period in 2003-4, six people over age 55 were hospitalized complaining of chest pain and nausea.
