Finalists Names for Wireless Philadelphia Project

Wireless Philadelphia has selected the two finalists in the competition to win the contract to deploy Philadelphia's city-wide network, providing Internet access across all areas of the City. The two finalists are EarthLink and Hewlett-Packard. Interestingly, Comcast, the City's largest cable and cable Internet provider is not involved. The City hopes to select a contractor within the next 30 days and begin construction and deployment sometime in October.
