Sunoco Welcome America! Festival Events - Monday, July 3

Wow, those storms just blew through in time last night so that folks at the Mann Center didn't get soaked. While it's raining this morning it looks like things should clear up by the time that the Lights of Liberty’s Teen Idol Search for the Greatest God Bless America finals star at 11:30 a.m. at the Independence Visitor Center. Today you can also enjoy a slice of Tastykake as the National Constitution Center extends their own Happy Birthday America!

At 4:00 p.m. it's time for Fiesta on the Parkway where you can enjoy food and live entertainment featuring salsa institution El Gran Combo, Brazilian percussionist Xande Cruz and The Brothers Band to add a little spice to your life. Then it's back to Independence Mall for POPS on Independence where Peter Nero and the Philly POPS will celebrate America’s birthday with stirring anthems, rousing marches and holiday favorites. It all starts at 8:30 p.m.
