Philadelphia Area September Festivals, Exhibitions and Events
Wednesday August 30, 2006
September brings lots of exciting festivals, exhibitions and events to the Greater Philadelphia area. The Philadelphia Live Arts Festival And Philly Fringe festival is where avant-garde performance meets street theater for two weeks of artistic pleasure throughout the city.
The National Constitution Center presents 9/11: A Nation Remembers, an exhibition of original photographs by Jonathan Hyman, documenting the way the American people responded to and remember the tragic attacks of September 11, 2001.
Later in the month celebrate the Halloween season at Eastern State Penitentiary by visiting Terror Behind the Walls, a spooky haunted house inside the abandoned prison. Those are just a few of the things going on this September. For a complete list check out our September Calendar of Events.
