American Idol Philadelphia Auditions for 2008 Season
Friday August 24, 2007
Whether you're a great singer who longs for stardom or a terrible singer who enjoys playing the fool, your chance to show the world your talent (or lack of same) is Monday, August 27 right here in Philadelphia when American Idol comes to Philadelphia for auditions for the 2008 season.
It's the first time American Idol has come to Philadelphia and only time will tell if our performers are so bad that it's also the last.
Philadelphia is the final stop in a series of seven audition cities across the nation, which began on Monday, July 30 in San Diego. Other audition cities were: Dallas, TX (Aug. 6), Omaha, NE (Aug. 10), Atlanta, GA (Aug. 14), Charleston, SC (Aug. 18) and Miami FL (August 22).
Philadelphia registration takes place this weekend, August 25-26, 2007 at the Wachovia Spectrum.
Those who register this weekend have a much better chance at getting to the judges on Monday. Those who wait to register until Monday will be last to perform.
Auditions will begin Monday morning and are open to men and women aged 16 to 28 who are eligible to work in the United States.
Additional information on how to register and obtain your wristband for the right to audition, as well as procedures and rules for Monday's auditions, are available at www.AmericanIdol.com.

WHERE DO YOU REGISTER AT?
I really wish that American Idol would give a special audition to one 29 yr old singer who would not be a waste of time.
I’m auditioning!!!! If you need any info or advice, feel free to ask
I’ve auditioned before, and made the first cut the first time, but not the second. It’s an experience, even if you don’t get selected. And if you don’t, you shouldn’t feel bad, believe me. It just means that it wasn’t your time, and there’s always next year! So go there to sing your heart out, enjoy meeting new people, and have fun!
I wanted to know when was America Idol coming to Chicago, Please Please tell.
