Today we celebrate America's 232nd birthday.

From the rugged coasts of Maine and the Rocky Mountains of the west, to the neighborhoods of Anchorage, Alaska and the islands of Hawaii, families will watch parades, attend barbecues and ooh and ah at evening fireworks. Independence Day is also the time that we should look back and remember why and where it happened.
