Earth Day art at Rutgers Camden

From the fashionable to the factual, here are a few of my favorite Greater Philadelphia Earth Day events happening tomorrow:

  • Trash Fashion Show: Moore College of Art & Design students show off clothing made from trash.
  • Yards' Beer-Bottle Recycling: Bring your empty beer bottles to Yards Brewing and get a discount on buying more beer.
  • Rutgers-Camden Earth Day Celebration: If you've forayed across the Ben Franklin bridge over the last month, you might have noticed a bizarre little rainbow on Camden's waterfront. What you can't tell from the bridge is that the rainbow is made from found trash, and it's part of Rutgers Camden's Earth Day celebration. From 11:30 - 1:30 on Thursday, the campus will also feature music, food, "dialogues on renewable energy sources" and more as part of its event.
