As if 2.6 million square feet of retail space weren't enough, the King of Prussia Mall announced another expansion today. Pending township approval, the project will connect the Court and the Plaza, so visitors won't have to walk outside anymore to move between the two areas. The space will consist of another 140,00 square feet and more than 40 new retail spaces and restaurants. Check out the Inquirer story for more information.
If you, like me, find the King Of Prussia Mall to be just a bit, um, much, and you prefer a more intimate mall experience (if such a thing exists), stay in Center City and go to one of the smaller, more centrally located indoor shopping malls. Far more manageable in size and scope while still offering a concentration of stores under one roof, Center City's indoor malls range from the upscale Shops at the Bellevue to the down and sometimes a little dirty Gallery at Market East.
