New Center City Japanese Restaurant Offers 20% Off During Philadelphia Cherry Blossom Festival
Tuesday April 15, 2008
Here's a great opportunity to try one of Center City's hottest new restaurants. And, if you do today through Friday during the Philadelphia Cherry Blossom Festival, you'll save 20% off your total bill.
Opening in late December of 2007, Kaizan features Modern Japanese cuisine with French influences & is located in Center City inside the Academy House at 1420 Locust Street. Their kitchen is run by acclaimed Executive Chefs Lassine Sylla & Takashi Jung. The intricacy of preparation methods & use of fresh ingredients helps to provide a remarkable dining experience for each person that dines there.
And the ambiance is just as great as the cuisine. Kaizan: Modern Japanese Cuisine is a wistful den of sweeping multi-colored banquettes, lovely dark woods, unique lanterns, & beaded metal curtains. There is a main dining room consisting of two spacious restaurant areas, sushi bar, & regular bar. Plates run $10-22, with options for multi course tasting menus (5 courses for $55, 7 courses for $75). They also have a great elevated outdoor patio that seats 25 & is the perfect spot to have dinner or drinks in the warm weather to come.
Kaizan is equipped with a full bar & carries a great wine & sake list, Japanese beers & specialty cocktails. They are open Sunday - Thursday: 5:00 p.m.- 11:00 p.m. & Friday - Saturday: 5:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. They are also available for private functions.
