There’s no place like Atlantic City in the summertime. From seafood festivals and marbles tournaments to live theatre, art exhibitions and the nation’s most famous woman’s golf tournament, there is something for everyone to get turned on to this June.

But rest assured, there’s always time to visit the miles of white sand and stroll down one of the oldest promenades in the nation, the world-famous Atlantic City Boardwalk!

  • Atlantic City CardSharks
    Atlantic City’s new indoor football team, the Atlantic City CardSharks, will finish out their first season in town at historic Boardwalk Hall in June 2004.   • Atlantic County Teen Arts Show

    The Atlantic City Art Center celebrates art for the young and the old in its exhibitions. The Art Center will display work in various media for the Atlantic County Teen Arts Show. Attendees can meet the artists on Sunday, June 27 at 7:30 p.m. There will also be a separate display featuring local artists at the Atlantic County Senior Juried Exhibit.     June 4 and 5, June 11 and 12, 2004 "Food is Love" in the innovative, repeat performance of Mondo Mangia. Actress Jilline Ringle pays tribute to her Sicilian mother and grandmother in a solo performance that weaves together songs and stories - as well as cooking.   • Drawin’ The Wild Card

    Atlantic City’s first ever tattoo extravaganza, Drawin’ The Wild Card, will feature the best tattoo artists from around the world and 100 booths of exhibitors. Hours are Friday, June 11 from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Saturday, June 12 from noon to 10:00 p.m., and Sunday, June 13 from noon to 7:00 p.m. A one-day pass is $20.   • 15th Annual Fleet NJ Fresh Seafood Festival
    Historic Gardner’s Basin
    New Hampshire and the Bay, Atlantic City, NJ
    June 12 and 13, 2004 Organized by local volunteers, this festival attracts 20,000 people who gather for seafood, rides, games, live music, boat rides, cooking demonstrations, and marine science education. Many people come for the mouth-watering seafood - fresh, grilled, broiled, steamed or even raw. Admission is $5 for adults with one child admitted free per paying adult.
