Parvin State Park
Full of history but better-suited today for general recreation; located in Pittsgrove

Penn State Forest
In the Pine Barren Plains, and containing Lake Oswego; suitable for boating, picnicking, fishing, and hiking

Rancocas State Park
Outdoors primarily features the Rancocas Creek, but the Audubon Society runs a nature center and wildlife programs, and the Powhatan Indians lease a portion of the park.
