The Philadelphia Flower Show is the oldest flower show in the United States and the largest indoor flower show in the world, attracting more than 250,000 visitors annually from across the country and the world.
The 2002 Philadelphia Flower Show is the best in many years. The theme "The Pleasures of the Garden" really seemed to inspire the imaginations of all entrants from the professional exhibitors to those participating in the competitive classes.
We attended the show as part of the preview available only to members of the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society and then went back again on the official opening day. Both days were attended by very large crowds.
We hope that you enjoy our photos of this year's show. We will be adding photos of the competitive classes later this week.
