Celebrating its 150th year in 2000

The Media Trolley still runs down the middle of State Street connecting Media with the communities to the east.

As you proceed outward from the center of town you will find lovely residential areas which contain some of the most beautiful Victorian homes in the area.

Recent renovations have turned the Media Theater into one of the region's top venues for live plays and musicals.

With performances throughout the year, the Media Theater now attracts hundreds of first time visitors who get a chance to learn why residents still like to call Media "Everybody's Hometown".

The year 2000 marks the Sesquicentennial Celebration of the founding of Media, 150 years ago. Special celebrations will be held throughout the year.

The borough maintains an excellent website which contains an events calendar which is updated regularly.
