The Adelphia New Year's Association performed to the theme of "Amazonia God of the Rainforest." Adelphia finished fourth of the four Fancy Division Clubs. This was their first time march on Broad Street and, by all accounts, it was a hit.
Adelphia was one of the only two clubs to drill at Washington Street, much to the delight of the receptive crowd. Their costumes were all new - not the recycled costumes that we see from the other Fancy Costume Division Clubs.
In my opinion, it was only their small size that kept them from obtaining a higher placement. I look forward to seeing them again in 2009.
