The 2008 Philadelphia International Auto Show rolls into the Pennsylvania Convention Center from February 2-10, 2008. This year's show will have hundreds of concept, classic, luxury, new production, exotic vehicles, the return of the Body2Body Competition sponsored by Toyota, and, for the fourth year in a row, a Tuner Car Salon.
The Philadelphia Auto Show is one of the largest auto shows in the country and vitally important to consumers in the Greater Philadelphia market. In 2007, 88 percent of attendees in the market for a new vehicle reported that visiting the Auto Show influenced their next purchasing decision.
Produced and owned by the Automobile Dealers Association of Greater Philadelphia (ADAGP), the 2008 Philadelphia International Auto Show will feature more than 700 vehicles from more than 40 participating manufacturers from around the world.
The ADAGP will continue its tradition of donating one dollar for every Auto Show ticket sold to The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia through the Auto Dealers CARing for Kids Foundation.
"Over 1.7 million individuals have enjoyed the Philadelphia Auto Show since 2000. It's a highly anticipated event that the people of Philadelphia and its surrounding areas look forward to year after year," said Scott Lustgarten, 2008 auto show chairman, president of Martin Dealership Group and vice president of Wilkie Lexus and Lexus of Chester Springs. "We pride ourselves on delivering a one-of-a-kind show that is not only exciting and fun, but is also informative and helps consumers make educated decisions for their own automotive needs."
