The 138th Edition of The Greatest Show On Earth® presented by Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey® arrives in Philadelphia this week with their Blue Tour. Their 2008 show, Over the Top, will have 19 performances at the Wachovia Spectrum from Wednesday, April 16 through Sunday, April 27, 2008.

Over the Top offers "a wacky, whimsical circus spectacular where dogs fly, a motorcycle rides the high wire, Asian Elephants stomp, and one courageous man stands eye to eye with a pack of powerful Bengal tigers."

Ringmaster Chuck Wagner and clown eccentric Tom Dougherty compete for control of a magical top hat that brings to life their fantastical imaginations. With the laughter evoked by the clown and the stupendous spectacle conjured by the Ringmaster, the two stars take the world-class acts to an unprecedented level in order to "top" each other.

From the renowned Cossacks' unbelievable equestrian stunts to the Flying Caceres high-altitude feats on an enormous double-decker trapeze, the 138th Edition of Ringling Bros. takes daredevil thrills to new extremes.

"Circus celebrities" will help rev-up the motorcycle madness featuring one cycle on a high wire and death defying seven speeding riders in a Globe of Steel. The Bombastic Bouncers will twist, flip, and spring six feet in the air, and over one another, on giant inner tubes that you have to see to believe.

Circus fans can arrive one hour before show time for the interactive All Access Pre-show to learn circus skills, become CircusFit®, meet Ringling Bros. performers and get an up-close look at the animal stars of The Greatest Show On Earth®. The All Access Pre-show is free to all ticket holders.

Circus fans can also visit the Animal Open HouseSM and discover the efforts that Ringling Bros. makes to save the endangered Asian elephant at the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Center for Elephant Conservation®.
