The Pennsylvania Institute of Technology is an independent two-year higher learning institute founded in 1953.

Location:

P.I.T. is located on Manchester Avenue in Media, PA, the seat of Delaware County about 10 miles west of Philadelphia. P.I.T. also has an additional location in historic downtown Philadelphia at 6th & Walnut Streets in the Curtis Center.

Academics:

P.I.T. offers two-year Associate's Degrees in technical, business and medical programs which prepare students for immediate entry into the workforce or transfer to a four-year college or university. In addition, P.I.T. offers an Accelerated Business degree that can be completed within one year via both "brick and click."

The school provides an emphasis on "hands-on" experience and computer information systems literacy, along with theory to enable students to achieve programmatic competencies.
