Founded in 1965 as Our Lady of Angels College by the Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia, the college was renamed Neumann College in honor of St. John Neumann of Philadelphia. It is a private, Catholic, co-educational College in the Franciscan tradition.
Neumann now fields fifteen NCAA athletic teams, is home to six performing arts groups, has three new residence halls that accommodate more than 500 students, and recently launched new programs in athletic training and criminal justice.
Neumann College is located in Aston, PA, about 10 miles west of Philadelphia.
