2013 is fast approaching and the big question is, "what are YOU doing on New Year's Eve?" From the free to the fancy, from the refined to the wild, here are some spectacular events to ring in the new year. Philly tends to go big on this night but be sure to save some steam so you can party on New Year's Day at the Mummers Parade.
Fireworks: Fireworks are a free and fun way to ring in the New Year. There will be be not one but two fireworks displays on the Delaware. Catch the show from Penn's Landing at 6pm or at Midnight. Adventure Aquariums Deep Sea Splash: Guests can drink like fish at this open bar soiree. There will be an upscale buffet, entertainment, a champagne toast at midnight and views of the Delaware River Fireworks. Tickets are $125 per person.

Philadelphia Orchestra New Year's Eve Concert: Celebrate New Years with class. The Philadelphia Orchestra will perform pieces inspired by Vienna and the waltz.

DJ Deejay at Silk City: DJ Deejay always gets everyone dancing. He plays mostly new and classic pop hits. This is sure to be a sweaty, crazy party.

New Years Eve at the Piazza: One ticket gets you admission to five different parties at the Piazza. The courtyard will be covered with an enormous heated tent and you can watch the ball drop on the jumbo screen.

Hands and Knees and Tigerbeats: The Barbary features it's two most popular dance parties on this special night.

Making Time New Years Eve 2K12(13): This famous Philly Dance party will be held at Union Transfer for the 2nd time instead of it's usual home at the more seedy Voyuer night club. DJs Dave P and Sammy Slice will play on the main floor. Last years party sold out so buy tickets now.

The Spirit of Philadelphia: Watch the Fireworks from aboard the Spirit of Philadelphia. Families can enjoy early dinner and Fireworks at 6pm and adults can enjoy a romantic late night cruise with an open bar.
