Walking with Dinosaurs: Philadelphia

July 14-18, 2010

By

Based on the BBC program of the same name, Walking with Dinosaurs is a live touring show featuring giant, moving replicas of dinosaurs. Operated through a combination of mechanics and puppetry, these accurate dinosaur models walk, roar and even fight in this hour-and-a-half long educational show. It's not quite Jurassic Park – as a spectator, you don't actually get to "walk" with the dinosaurs. But the Walking with Dinosaurs website promises that "your belief will be suspended as you experience the feeling that the Dinosaurs in front of you are real."

Walking with Dinosaurs first came to Philadelphia in 2007 and is returning for a 2010 engagement at the Wachovia Center.
