Please Touch Museum kicks off the holiday season with an invitation to families to relive holidays past and make new memories as they visit a Philadelphia staple - the Enchanted Colonial Village. Each year, many people visit Please Touch with fond memories of seeing the Enchanted Village as a child and bring their own children to discover its magic for the first time. The eighteen original Enchanted Colonial Village scenes made their home at the Lit Brothers department store at 8th and Market Streets from 1962 until 1975. Its your last chance to share the magic and motion of holidays past at Please Touch Museums current home on 21st Street.

It's a miniature winter wonderland amid the evergreens at The Morris Arboretum's Holiday Garden Railway Display, a quarter mile of model-train track featuring seven loops and tunnels with 15 different rail lines, two cable cars, nine bridges and bustling trains that cruise past scaled replicas of historic monuments. The display is free with regular garden admission: $10 adults, $8 for seniors, students and youth (13-18) $5, children under age three and members free.

Over 100 fully-animated figures reenact 26 of the most memorable scenes from A Christmas Carol. With authentic reproductions of period dress, furniture and more, you'll experience the sights and sounds of 1840s London. 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
