Gingerbread Luncheon at the Ritz-Carlton, Philadelphia

Upon entering the Petite ballroom, with its halls decked like Candy Land, children ages 3 to 12 can create their own gingerbread house using cookies and candy. Enjoy lunch including a special buffet for children, an adult buffet and complimentary champagne. Award-Winning Author Autographs

Author and illustrator Susan Jeffers will visit The Academy of Music to sign copies of her new book, The Nutcracker. Copies of the book will be available for purchase at the Ballet Boutique in the theater lobby so you can take home your own autographed copy of the worlds most beloved holiday fairy tale.
The Nutcracker Family Day

The performances on Saturday, December 15 at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. are part of Pennsylvania Ballets Family Matinee Series and include a free Family Day event in the Academy of Music Ballroom from 1 to 3 p.m. Dont miss this fun afternoon of entertainment, games and craft activities, as well as autograph opportunities with your favorite dancers. The Family Matinee Series is sponsored by PECO.
"Nutcracker Magic" Children's Party

Bring family and friends to our glorious holiday party, which has become a family tradition over the past twenty years. The Sugarplum Fairy, the Mouse King and Artistic Director Roy Kaiser will have the dubious honor of ringing the morning bell at the Philadelphia Stock Exchange to celebrate the opening of Pennsylvania Ballets new production of George Balanchines The Nutcracker.
