It's not my intention to either advocate or condemn rodeos. I recognize that it's an important part of the culture and history of our country. For most of us in the Greater Philadelphia / South Jersey area the only opportunity we'll ever have to experience it is at the Cowtown Rodeo, the oldest continually running rodeo east of the Mississippi.

In fairness to the rodeo, you should experience it for yourself before making your own judgment.

The Cowtown Rodeo is held every Saturday evening at 7:30 p.m. from the last Saturday in May till the last Saturday in September. The Cowtown Rodeo is located on Route #40 eight miles east of the Delaware Memorial Bridge, Exit #1 on the New Jersey Turnpike or Exit #4 o Route #295.

Admission is $12 for adults and $6 for children 12 years and under. Group rates are available as are season tickets.

For more information you can call the rodeo's Business Office at 856-769-3200 or visit their website at www.cowtownrodeo.com
