When the colonists arrived back in the 17th century, they brought a few things with them and after they landed, they made the rest. All this stuff eventually became antiques, turning South Jersey into a mecca for old treasures.

Most of us call it Mullica Hill. Antique hunters call it heaven. Up and down the Main Street section of Route 322, this Victorian village is home to literally dozens of antique shops, craft and artisan studios, collectibles and other treasures.

Mullica Hill is just minutes down Route 322 from the Commodore Barry Bridge, making it the perfect shopping destination for folks from Delaware and Chester Counties.

There is an antiques boom going on in Salem, New Jersey. Several new individually-owned shops have sprung up alongside Royal Port Antiques on Market Street, a new, multi- level antiques center.

In addition to its mix of shops featuring a combination of old and new, the village at Rancocas Woods holds monthly craft and antique shows.

High Street in Historic Burlington mixes it up with a combination of antiques, crafts, African-American artists, upscale restaurants, ice cream parlors, and more.
