The Borough of Wildwood Crest is a small shore resort community located at the extreme southern end of New Jersey immediately south of the City of Wildwood. It is part of what is known as The Wildwood's.
Wildwood Crest's magnificent free and extremely wide beaches are among the most beautiful in the world. Thousands of hotel and motel rooms as well as family-owned cottages and summer rentals are available for your accommodation.
In the last decade Wildwood and Wildwood Crest have become literally world famous for their abundant "Doo Wop" architecture - the unique, space-age architectural style that was common in the 1950's and 1960's that incorporated modern, sweeping angles, bright colors, starbursts, boomerang shapes, plastic palm trees, and angular wall and roof styles.
Wildwood Crest is just a short drive to the casinos of Atlantic City and the many other interesting and exciting attractions in southern New Jersey.
Wildwood Crest was ranked second beach in New Jersey in the 2008 Top 10 Beaches Contest sponsored by the New Jersey Marine Sciences Consortium. In addition to the Top 10 rankings, Wildwood Crest was named Best New Jersey Beach for Family Vacations.
