Lincoln: The Constitution and the Civil War takes visitors along a tense, exciting reconstruction of just how President Abraham Lincoln succeeded in saving the nation during the turbulent times of the Civil War where the very existence of the nation was in question.

The exhibit features fun interactive elements, artifacts, text, photographs and more gathered from across the nation. From a set of 19th Century Slave Shackles from the private collection of J. Justin and Gwen Ragsdale, to Lincoln's top hat from the Chicago Historical Society to a signed copy of the Emancipation Proclamation from the Gilder Lehrman Collection at the New York Historical Society, the exhibition is a tangible and vivid reminder of those turbulent years.

The exhibition is attractive, educational and exciting whether you are a Civil War buff, a Lincoln aficionado or just someone who wants to learn a bit more about the President who is often selected as our Nation's best.
