As you continue along the Parkway, you’ll see a large construction site between 20th and 21st Streets. This will be the site of the Barnes Foundation when its move from the suburbs is complete, slated for spring 2012. The multibillion-dollar collection of Impressionist and Expressionist art include works by Cézanne, Gauguin, El Greco, Goya, Manet, Matisse, Modigliani, Monet, Picasso, Renoir, and Van Gogh.
