Storytellers give kids get the scoop on Ben Franklin while they enjoy the interactive movie What's the Big Idea, Ben Franklin? at the Free Library of Philadelphia. Each child attending will receive a gift bag with a book and other goodies.

Philly @ the Movies – The Shawshank Redemption

Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman co-star in one of the great prison break/buddy flicks of all time, showing for free at the Eastern State Penitentiary, which in its day had its own share of prison breaks. Cinema fans can bring lawn chairs, blankets and popcorn to nibble on while they root for the wrongfully imprisoned Robbins to make a clean escape.
