Cooking at the Capital Grille's Booth at a Taste of Philadelphia held July 1st and 2nd, 2006.
Philadelphia is known as one of the best restaurant cities in the country and this year's 4th of July festivities gave festival goers a real Taste of Philadelphia, a two-day dining experience highlighting some of Philly's most popular restaurants. Whether you are a fan of the famous Philly cheesesteak or a connoisseur of fine dining, you were able to find something to suite your tastes.

Food booths were located at 6th and Market Streets, where prominent chefs made their specialties available for sale to the public at a discount. Food tickets were priced at 50 cents and sold in strips of eleven for $7.00 (including a $1.50 amenities fee); one percent (1%) of all proceeds were donated to MANNA, the Delaware Valley program that serves meals to people living with HIV/Aids.

Some participation restaurants included: Bluzette's, The Capital Grille, Cuba Libre, Franklin Fountain, Franko and Luigi's, Gioia Moia Ristorante, Incredibly Edible Delights, Snockey's Oyster House, Steaks on South and Ted's Montana Grill.
